Notes from what we are actually building — not a content calendar. This page grows when we have something genuinely worth writing down.

Building ChargeNow: what an EV charging platform taught us

ChargeNow started as a question we kept hearing in mobility conversations: why is charging an electric vehicle still harder than fuelling a petrol one? The answer is rarely the hardware — it is the software around it: fragmented networks, stale availability data and payment flows that need three apps where one should do.

Building the prototype sharpened two convictions we now carry into client work. First, AI-enabled engineering genuinely compresses the idea-to-working-software gap — the platform reached a demoable state far faster than a conventional build plan would have promised. Second, the hard part of a real-time platform is non-functional: availability data is only useful if it is fresh, and trust evaporates the first time a “free” charger turns out to be occupied. That is why performance and reliability engineering sit in our core service pillars rather than in the appendix.

Paribahan Command: designing for public-transport fleet operations

Public-transport fleets generate hundreds of operational decisions a day — vehicle allocation, route coverage, depot workflows, crew scheduling — and much of that decision-making still runs on paper registers and phone calls. Paribahan Command, shaped around the operational context of the West Bengal Transport Department, brings fleet visibility, scheduling and depot operations into a single command view.

The design lesson was about respect for existing process: an operations platform succeeds by meeting the depot where it is, not by assuming a greenfield. The prototype therefore prioritises legibility — screens an operations supervisor can read at a glance — over dashboard maximalism. It is a principle we now apply to every operational system we design: the measure of an interface is the speed of a correct decision.

More to come

That is the honest extent of the library today. More insights will appear here as products reach milestones and engagements generate lessons worth sharing.
